This car represents the pinnacle of 'bargain motoring'. I can't believe how much car, how much engine, how much charisma and how much fun you get for the money asked. The Mustang is an unbelievable package considering what you're paying for it. Plus, it's an honest, down to earth, old school car which feels exactly like a muscle car should. I would take this over an E90 M3 any day. In fact, that's what I did.

Comparing a 32k+ Ford to a 100k+ Porsche/Jaguar/BMW. That's not how it works....that's not how any of this works...

The video felt like an intro to an actual review. No comment on interior quality or if the cut-corners from RHD to LHD can be lived with.

"Can't compete with the best of European"... Not meant to, it's a value proposition... you're comparing a Ford with Jaguar and Porsche...

the mustang has the character, the charisma, the looks, the passion, the speed, the feeling, the joy and much more, and it does it with so much less than other rivals, ever since i became 16 and i bought my first stang i fell in love a 2003 terminator was the one. as i grew older i have driven so many different stangs ranging from a base model v6 to a 5.4 supercharged to a procharged mustang making over 800+ wheel horsepower to a 4cyl turbo to a v6 4.0 a base 5.0 you name it. The stang for me and in my own eyes is my perfect car, and once you get pass the fact that the mustang isn't the fastest car out there your connection to your machine is going to grow exponentially.

Objectively, it can't keep up with the best European stuff... which costs twice as much.

Being from Germany, Born and raised, Why the fuck is every damn european review on a Mustang always so ignorant? Hell even the title, "Finally a descent Mustang" ? Like the fuck? Mustangs have always been good, Great even, You simply cannot be one of the all time greats and last 50 years in the automotive business, And still produce so much heritage, People always talk about quality, But quality alone isnt worth 3 times as much, With a Mustang you get options, Good space, Reliability, Good Mpg, Looks, Sound, A fricken Ford V8, Performance in every category, And a huge smile on your face for 30k, Not too mention easy to replace and fix parts, Low maintenance, Im so sick of these reviews from europe saying its not good enough, Or up to par, Guse what, It always has been, Cannot be with 50 years of heritage.

This car is all about having a laugh and feeling good about yourself obviously it's not going to be as sharp as a Porsche. Driving these in Europe must be awesome and the sound of the V8 is worth paying all that money for fuel. lol

When I think GT I think whole driving experience not just performance. I got the 2015 GT Premium with the Recaro's and the Performance Pack and love it. When you realize I got it completely loaded for a hair over 31k pounds its hard not to be impressed with what I got for the money. 435 hp, Brembo 6 piston fronts, sorted IRS, blind spot lane assist, adaptive cruise control and auto breaking, auto sensor wipers, nav, killer sound system, and tons more. Oh yea, that 45k included extended warranty and paid maintenance for 5 years.

I could have got the 911 but instead I have the quite capable Mustang GT and with the left over money I got myself a loaded F-150 Lariat Supercrew. I still love the European sports cars but I drive, enjoy and can afford the Fords.

Wish Henry didn't sound like a mouse. Can hardly hear him sometimes. Maybe rethink the mic position?

I was curious to the criticism of previous mustangs, I had the 2005 version for two years and it was great, the handling was fine, it was much better than I expected and a lot of fun. Even in the wet when it got twitchy when abused you could easily correct it.

Fun fact: Actually, this this the first mustang in 16 years to have independent rear suspension. The 2000 Cobra R had IRS.

Hate the diffuser the same colour as the paint of the car.

lol, to compare it to the "best European stuff" is to miss the point...if you want a track monster like a Porche, buy the GT350 or Z/28...these are still muscle cars

Hard for me to grasp as to why Americans come off as arrogant, yet we are constantly riddled with "But, will the divine Europeans like it? Will meet their standards?".

Imagine if Americans had a review that said "Is it good enough for America?". The hate would be endless.

Look at the Mercedes, BMW's or Porsches you can (Or cannot) buy for this price range. The Mustang demolishes it.

actually, I think of the Mustang as more of a do it all car vs a pure sports car. I have a friend that has one and it just eats up the miles comfortably, and very rapidly. a perfect tool hear in Texas where the roads, believe me, can be long, fairly straight and go on forever and the price is right

Okay Ford it's good, it works as a RHD car. Now can you bring the GT350/GT350R to Europe please :)

Mustang GT has a bias towards a Grand tourer, its in the badge. If you really want to compete with Jag and Porsche, try the GT350R. I'll wait that review right here.
