Just listen to the warped sound in this old music.
Back in the day, the recordings could become warped and damaged and sound like this, and it was annoying. But all these years later, I love that old warped sound.
It provides a smorgasbord of nostalgic remembrances.

Wow. He says Teotihuacan was an Aztec construction but we know that these ruins predated the Aztecs and the Aztecs gave it that name. Place of the Gods.. We've learned a lot more through archeology since this movie was made.

On April 8, 1960, Rod Serling cast black actor Ivan Dixon in THE TWILIGHT ZONE'S "the big tall wish!" It was ground-breaking television! The cast in that episode was all black family! I've been a fan of Rod ever since! Later on in 1972, Rod Serling would make the movie "The Man" starring James Earl Jones as the President. Rod Serling was TRULY a great white liberal man... nothing like the racist liberals of today!!!!

Great vintage show from my era!!I remember seeing these when I was growing up!!!!

I remember seeing this on TV when it first ran.
Serling was also narrating the Jacques Cousteau specials of the time which were very popular.

I barely I seem to remember this it was also one of the first times if not the only time Carl Sagan actually gave serious thought about Ancient Astronauts and probable life elsewhere .

The first time that I watched this was in the old theater in PR
This came out after " Chariots of the Gods" and I had seen this a year or two before " In Search of Ancient Astronauts ".

I remember seeing this in person as a kid at the movie theater when it came out. I was scared to death at the mysterious notion that we are not alone.
