TIMELAPSE – Our House Build from Start to FINISH in 16 minutes + Mini HOUSE TOUR

Finally mga Tangay, we can share with you the full video of our Home Build Journey here in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines.

My husband Albert, who worked as a Senior QAQC Engineer and Site Engineer in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, oversaw the whole project. He designed the house while we were still working in Dubai as OFWs in 2019. He graciously took into account my request—a simple WHITE and kinda ‘wood’ house. (Thanks Ikea for the inspo!) I don’t like modern design, just classic white with a simple façade, nothing fancy really.
Minimalist is the way to go. 🥰

We got our Building Permit in February 2020 but didn’t get to start the build until May 2020 because of the Covid 19 pandemic restrictions. We had a small (and awesome) Team from the beginning and gradually added a few for certain portions of the build like the painting works and all. We also had instances when we had to let go of some of our team members due to grave misconduct, hence we worked with a smaller team for a time.


I initially didn’t want to do a House Tour because if privacy and security issues but we figured maybe you’d want to see the finished product as well.


All glory to GOD for making this Home Build possible! HE is the reason why we called this house Balai Biyaya because it was built All By God’s Grace. ☺

I do house renovation in America. I would like to suggest if you don't mind, I think a bigger chandelier on top of your staircase would be beautiful. Also, if you could add nice cabinet handles on your kitchen cabinet doors. If you could change your cabinet handles in the master bathroom into black ones to match your black faucet and shower head.

I am currently OFW here in Saudi Arabia and have a lot bought in Puerto Princesa almost 2 decades ago.. Planning also to build an apartment units.. Marami ako natutunan sa mga videos mo particularly sa tips ng OFW mula Australia na nagpatayo ng apartment building sa inyo.. But of course marami talaga ng lesson na natutunan ako sa videos ninyong mag-asawa.. I have many Friends in Palawan particular in Puerto Princesa. GOD BLESS you more and your Family.

Congratulations! What a lovely house.. The interior design, and the neutral color makes your house looks so cozy and elegant. Ganyan din po ang style na gusto walang cove lights.
