18 Months in 35 Minutes, Couple builds a dream home ..

A long time has passed since my fiancee and I started working on our future home project so after year and a half, I think it's time to make a video of all the work we have done so far. In this 35 minutes video you can see all the steps from marking the outlines of the house, up to the day the house was finally water tight. You can also expect some new frames.:) For more detailed videos please check out parts 1-12 which go more in depth and have more detailed subtitles explaining all the steps.
It took us a lot more time to get here than anticipated , mostly due to other projects I had to work on, but hopefully things will go on easier from now on. At least we wont cook under the sun and freeze during winter:) House building system we used is a traditionally used one here in continental Croatia. I hope you will find future videos as interesting as ones so far and hopefully another longer half an hour video will drop in a year or so..

I was hooked as soon as I saw you using seismic testing for your foundation. Besides, I really love your country and its people...every time I visit I want to stay! This level of work ethic and craftsmanship is one reason.

In the US, builders are still building huge stick built with a low consideration for passive energy in the design, we call them McMansions after MacDolands clone designs. Your Architect seems to be very thorough and your build team very accomplished. I hope this stands as inspiration in the US to build smarter. Truly lovely to watch.
