For many of you who had the same doubt like me. The Otterbox Defender Pro has all the same features just like the other Defender series in terms of toughness, protection and durability except that the Pro series comes with an additional protection to offer called as OTTERARMOUR, a microbial defense that protects the case against many common germs. Also, it has a different design with those lines on the back (as seen in this video) as compared to the defender series

I still prefer screen protection on all my devices, and I’m frustrated with Otterbox ditching the screen protector.

I am someone who drops their phones. I have had broken screen in the past.

With the introduction of tempered glass, every one of my phones have been saved. The tempered glass will get cracked, but the screen will be fine. On my current phone of two years, I am on my third tempered glass protector.

However, the newer phones such as the Note 9, are fragile. They have glass at the front and back. They have curved edges.

Looking at a case for the Note 9, I don't think there is a single case, which protect the screen.

I don't know why manufacturers don't make a rugged phone from the factory, rather then wasting money on a case.

I always cut the power cover off every defender case I ever bought.. I dont like that after just a few months the bottom has warped do to being held open constantly by the charger. Good review.

Otterbox was great back in 2011-2013 but I prefer the Unicorn Beetle pro for all my phones and not only because of the build in screen protector on the Unicorn.

I just got my Note 9 yesterday & I bought a case from Amazon made by a company called Youmaker. Cost me $20 & has a built in screen protector. Really solid case & it has a 2 way kickstand.

Is this "Defender Series Pro for Galaxy Note 9" better as a Love Mei case?
The Love mei case is made of metal that is held together with screws, but without a screen protector.



Does this case have an internal shock absorber frame like the Love Mei case?

Is it waterproof?

Does it have its own protective glass (case for Samsung Note 9)?

I'm looking for the best full ruggedized case for the Note 9. Like a Panasonic Toughbook CF-31.

Does this case allow the GPEL Screen Protector to be used without problem? it's compatible?

Does the pro have the same issue as the regular defender where the rubber is loose around the left side where all the buttons are?

I get what you mean about the screen protector but I get one just to give myself a little more security and to be able to rest assure that it can take a little bit more damage
