Nice review. I've been using Otter Box Defender cases since the Blackberry 8300 and they have never failed me. I work outside and inside and the OB Defender series works great. i don't mind the bulk. And I usually take the built in screen protectors off. I don't like them and so far it hasn't been an issue. Thinking of getting the Note 9 since my S6 is dying.

Is this "Defender Series Pro for Galaxy Note 9" better as a Love Mei case?
The Love mei case is made of metal that is held together with screws, but without a screen protector.

This case does not have an internal shock absorber frame like the Love Mei case?

It ist not waterproof?

It does not have its own protective glass (case for Samsung Note 9)?

I'm looking for the best full ruggedized case for the Note 9. Like a Panasonic Toughbook CF-31.

For many of you who had the same doubt like me. The Otterbox Defender Pro has all the same features just like the other Defender series in terms of toughness, protection and durability except that the Pro series comes with an additional protection to offer called as OTTERARMOUR, a microbial defense that protects the case against many common germs. Also, it has a different design with those lines on the back (as seen in this video) as compared to the defender series

I had no Clue how to open and put this case on.
I Followed your video step by step and it worked.
The case Seems very sturdy and hold
my phone great.
I am so Glad I got it.
A BestBuy employee told me to get it.
But they were $60 in BestBuy.
I know that price was crazy.
I Went to Walmart and it was on $45.

Clip being a Stand.
I didn't Even know.
I Really Like that option.
It took me a while to figure out how to
press it in for the stand to work. :)

This is the Defender Pro Case. Do you know the difference between the regular defender case? Was not sure which to get. Plus, I read the glass screen protector will not work with this case. Do you recommend a screen protector, or you found it was fine without one? Thanks

Is it really less bulkier than the Otterbox Defenders we're use to? The Note 9 is a great looking phone, and placing it in a "cardboard box" with a window would take away from its beauty. I guess it's a trade-off.

Do you notice that the left side where all the buttons are it's hard to keep the rubber to stick in the plastic groove?

Just wanted to pass along that the Otterbox Defender doesn't work with the Samsung Wireless charger, unless you remove the rubber cover. It is simply too Otterbox commuter however works just fine with wireless charging.

on the defender pro for note 9, are the side edges of the case higher than the screen face? meaning...if you set a ruler across the face of the phone in case... would the ruler rest on the edges of the case, or on the screen?

Where did you get this from? On the Otterbox site its a different type and it doesnt have a Pro edition. I would really like the one you have. Thank you in advance.

The issue I'm having is it is causing the screen protector to come off around the edges. I've gone through 2 regular screen protectors because of this.
