Hello Paul Stonehill! If you can you need to get a hold of a copy of the Walum Olam. The best one the is "The Red Record - the oldest Native North American Records" by McCutchen. I think you would find it a fascinating read.
I showed by copy to a Turkish gentleman who was schooled in the ancient Turkish language. He noticed a lot of similarities between the ancient laguage ofhis people and that of the Lenni Lenape ( the most common Lenape known are the Delaware).
These folks did migrate long ago from Asia. I should note most Native American Nations did not but some did.
The reason WHY they left is also fascinating and would give credence to Hyperboria. Lake Baikal was the home region of the Peoples.
Lenni Lenape most direct translation into English is WE THE PEOPLE.
