Completely disagree. In the 80s I was the first woman supervisor in a manufacturing department. I was treated like such crap by the supervisors and employees. Telling me I should stay home, barefoot and pregnant. The amount of sexual harassment was ridiculous also

That still doesn’t equate to what was women’s suffrage. Women effectively had no voice, no deciding power, over themselves especially, nor did they have basic rights. Spousal abuse was not acknowledged as a problem but rather a solution and relatively socially accepted in white male society. Women were pawned off by fathers and essentially married for the purposes of child rearing. I think that Botox done f’d up Sadia’s empathic skills. 😅. Black male suffrage is another issue on a different plane. White women had more saying power but only in regard to blacks and their place in society during that time period.

Well there was and continues to be an American caste system. If you are not at the top then you are being oppressed or suppressed or repressed.

This isnt the oppression olympics. Because I didnt live thru the holocaust doesnt mean I dont have the right to complain about separate but equal. If women had it bad then they had it bad that doesn’t mean because someone had it worse they should just shut up. HAVING said that the feminist movement is more toxic than actually helpful.
