I’ve gone my whole life never really wearing fragrances, y’know, besides deodorants, but decided to pick out something special for my brother’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. I went into a perfume store not knowing what I liked and was recommended all of the most popular ones which I turned my nose up at, until they sprayed Black Orchid. I immediately fell in love with it and bought a bottle on the spot. I can’t remember smelling anything quite like it. I’ve since gone on to buy more perfumes, and am already planning on buying more. It’s really opened my eyes to a whole world that I paid no attention to previously

I started my perfume journey during the first covid lock down. Along the way I discovered your channel and have been an avid fan since. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this video. It was fun to see how many of my favourites made it into your top ten.
NO 19, Opium, Shalimar, Dune, Poison, Samsara, just shows how some of the oldies are still considered the best.... Oh my gosh, how wonderful. I have been off of Facebook for a couple years but I remember this question. How amazing that you collected + shared these results. I think it speaks to the diversity but also the knowledge + experience of your group (my thinking: many more “older” perfumes or “greats” than some of the other fly-by-night lists I see). While there are some popular perfumes on this list that I’m sick to death of (LVEB, BR540, Coco Mad), I’m super excited scents like the Tauer, Dune, the Guerlains, “red cap, ” the Diors made it. My fave perfume—Caron’s Eau de Reglisse—and house—Solstice Scents—are never on lists but hey. Thanks again for this gem video/sharing (and I love your shirt!)!

Very interesting!! this has a couple of my faves, but not many .... since it's "your" audience, was surprised to see la vie est belle at all, and was expecting Chanel, Guerlain and Dior but a bit sad not to see Serge at all.

OMG has it already been 3 years 😮😂 I voted for MFK BR540 EDP. Back then, I was the only one in my neighbourhood who wore it. It was love at first sniff. Now, sadly, I smell it often and also dupes. One of my friends recently bought a travelspray and to my annoyance she wears it every time we hang out together. She stole my signature scent. Alien by Mugler also used to be my signature scent, until again, you started to smell it everywhere. Overall there's a few in the top 10 I own and love. P.S.: Is that a bottle of Orto Parisi I spot there in your cabinet? 🧐😂 I love that house! I own Bergamask, Seminalis and Megamere. And still want to buy Stercus for sure and maybe more.

Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere is a top one for me. I love the original as well, and many others by Chanel that were in this list (Coco and Coromandel in particular), but Eau Premiere is one I’d give a special shoutout to as well. It helped ignite my passion for perfumery, and I still adore it to this day. Bonus shoutout to Chanel Beige which needs more love!
