No queen Jewel? She wasn’t queen for very long but her character was very cunning. She was logical, fair, and even let rumors spread about her to keep her under the radar. She actually cared about the silk wings and protected them during the whole breath of evil fiasco. I think she deserved A tier or at very least the top spot of B tier.

In my opinion, diamond is hands-down the worst queen in the series. She punished Foeslayer for something that was mostly Arctic’s fault (Not saying Arctic was a bad guy here, just saying) and the punishment was something NOBODY deserves, especially Foeslayer, who didn’t do anything wrong for the most part. She also is a bad mom, and just gives me a bad vibe altogether. I have never met anyone who’s favourite character is diamond.

Personally I love Glacier because she’s an amazing mother and a kind ally. She’s also selfless and a great friend to Jerboa III, refusing to make her do animus magic. I’m sort of bias cause Blacier, but even without it, she’s just a great queen.

I love how much of an enjoyable villain Scarlet is. She allways manages to be a threat and was introdused in book 1 and survived to book 8. I think that is the longest a villian ever lived after being introduced.

Speaking of Darkstalker..

I gave him a 10, pretty much because he was probably one of the BEST, most iconic villains in the series (at least to me). The thing is, he never really thought what he was doing was necessarily wrong. He thought he was doing all his deeds for the greater good, but in reality, he’s just a villain. I was CRYING when Foeslayer fed Darkstalker the strawberry, turning him into stupid tiny Peacemaker. Darkstalker def deserved more love though (my opinion)

I think Scarlet actually is more “Terrible person vs. Great character”

I actually quite like Pearl, even though she didn't make all the best decisions. She became queen at the age of FIVE (Younger than Snowfall, same age as Qibli or Turtle) after her entire family got murdered and she only survived by cutting herself up and pretending to be dead. That's a lot to deal with. I think it's very understandable that she would try to do anything to stop there from being another murderous SeaWing animus, but I do think she didn't go about it in the smartest way. I think the best option would have been to make Fathom cast a spell which made himself no longer an animus and made sure there would never be another animus in the Sea Kingdom, so then she wouldn't have to worry about him or his possibly animus children. But Pearl didn't do that, she might've been too worried to suggest any kind of spell or too untrusting to think Fathom would actually go through with it. In any case, she decided to isolate Fathom. it's not very nice for Fathom, but I do think it makes sense because preventing any future massacres was more important than his happiness (sorry Fathom). She could have just killed him, would probably have been easier for her and more certain, but she at least cared enough about him to not do that. I think that would have been a lot less nice. Anyways I just think Pearl is a pretty interesting yet very unexplored character.

I feel like whenever these videos happen, people are divided on how characters are voted since there’s not criteria for the ratings. People either voted how much they like the queen as a character, or how good they thought they were as a leader, which leads to some weird placements. For example, I love Scarlet who is an awful queen and I would’ve always given her a 10/10 because of how great of a character she is. The same goes for Glacier who is like a 7/10 and honestly the willingness to kill children is just icing on the cake to me. Moral greyness is more interesting then being perfect! Slay! Glacier would be about the same as Moorhen if she didn’t have those extra qualities.

*Me who voted Scarlet as S tier for the sole reason that she is fabulous*

I always love when you do these community tier lists, it makes me feel included and that I make an impact and I’m sure it does for other people.

Edit: One of my suggestions made it in the google form. I am super excited to see how others rated them. The friendship I had recommended was Sky and Wren.

I coincidentally have my own *Pyrrhia Queen Ranking List* so I’m putting it here because.

Please note this list will be based on each queen’s rulership and NOT how they are as a character. Every known queen in Pyrrhia history who has had a sufficient introduction and at least some lore relevance about how they ruled will be on this list. Queens who were just barely mentioned for a sentence or two with little to no description will not be included. Also, Pantala queens will not be listed here considering how the continent has been in heavy disarray upon introduction and still has yet to reestablish order. There will also be three group rankings of *“Awful”, “Okay”, * and *“Great”* labels to further emphasize each individual queen’s review. Here we go with 15 queens!

*The Awful Queens*

The queens listed here are horrible rulers who disgraced their tribe due to their selfish ambitions and uncaring mindset, and did not deserve the power they obtained.

**#15 Diamond**
At the very bottom of this list is the dragon who caused by far the most damage of any character in the entire franchise. She’s the source of 2000 years of grudges between the IceWings and the NightWings. She’s intentionally responsible for using her own animus power on the royal IceWing crown to make her successors hate the NightWings as much as her. She put a victim through an endless amount of impossible suffering out of pure spite and bitterness. Queen Diamond has nothing but hatred in her heart. She is willing to make her own tribe suffer all in the name of vengeance for things that were ultimately her own fault. I hope she died screaming when the world was finally rid of her.

**#14 Scarlet**
Lived to make dragons suffer. Scarlet easily would’ve been at the bottom of this list if not for Diamond. She had her prisoners of war partake in gladiator fights, forcing them to kill or be killed for the amusement of the crowd. Scratch that— the amusement of just herself. Her subjects and allied guests took no real pleasure in witnessing dragons desperately slaughter each other for the hope of living another day. They just didn’t want to risk getting caught under their queen’s wrath. They feared her. Fear and manipulation were the only things that kept Scarlet in power. She will twist any rule, tell any lie, and use any trick to further enforce her own power over her subjects. Her shamed exile Kestrel, her obedient firescale Peril, and her brainwashed daughter Ruby are all living proof of that. There’s no denying that Scarlet did an astonishing job maintaining her hold of the throne for so long despite so many non-loyal subjects, and things probably would’ve stayed that way if not for Glory’s unpredictable surprise attack.

**#13 Vigilance**
Just about as rotten as Diamond and Scarlet. The only reason Vigilance is ranked above them is because she simply didn’t get the chance to cause as much damage as they did, thanks to being too busy worrying about Darkstalker and fleeing the advanced Night Kingdom. But don’t let that fool you. She was very eager to cause as much damage to other tribes as she could with her gifted subjects, if only she had more time to get it done.

**#12 Lagoon**
A perfect example of a ruler who let power get to their head. When Albatross was discovered to have animus magic, Lagoon became dangerously ambitious to exploit his power as much as she could. She indirectly threatened other tribes during diplomatic meetings to use it against them if their terms didn’t appeal to her. A queen flexing her perks is never a good sign. On top of that, she tried to guilt her magic living assets into being her personal animus slaves until the day they died. Ultimately, Albatross did the SeaWings and the world a favor by putting an end to her rule and scaring anyone from following in her footsteps.

**#11 Battlewinner**
The reason she’s placed on top of all the other evil queens is that there was at least a somewhat selfless part of her that cared about the well-being of her tribe. She knew there was a strong possibility that she would never be able to escape the volcano thanks to her frosted insides, but she was still willing to find a way to save her tribe from having the same fate. But she was still content with punishing her subjects by death for mistakes and failures, as well as refusing to give up her crown to another tribe in exchange for saving her own. Under better circumstances, Battlewinner might’ve been a more honorable queen. But she let the volcano swallow up her nobility where she resorted to dirty methods and threw out the concept of mercy.

*The Okay Queens*

These queens were not evil and selfish, but they weren’t particularly very noble either and could’ve served their tribe better if they just tried a little harder

**#10 Grandeur**
What puts Grandeur so low on this chart despite her not being evil, is the fact that she basically gave up on her tribe. When her own heirs proved to be unworthy of the throne, she settled with alternating her power with whoever wanted it, regardless of how much they actually cared about their RainWing subjects. And she seemed perfectly content with leaving it that way until Glory showed up, who just happened to be royal blood and actually cared about restoring the RainWing tribe’s honor. Seriously, civilians were disappearing and no one was doing anything about it. Grandeur was ready to watch her tribe get destroyed by its own arrogance.

**#9 Coral**
The only current queen in Pyrrhia who falls short of being considered a great one. While Coral does keep a strong and efficient rule over her tribe, she has performed several inexcusable actions on the throne. Most of these include brutalizing and sometimes downright murdering her loyal subjects over failures or just being present at an unfortunate event, without even giving them a chance to explain themselves. It’s understandable for her to be grieving over her persistently dying daughters, but that does not in any way justify her horrific outbursts on her subjects who have never done anything to sabotage her. And that’s not even mentioning how gullible she was to trust Blister and Whirlpool to the point of doing nearly anything they say despite several hard pieces of evidence suggesting their trickery. Coral just barely qualifies as tolerable.

**#8 Oasis**
The closest you can get to an example of the average queen in Pyrrhia is probably Oasis. She took heavy measures to ensure none of her siblings or cousins could take her throne, but spared her daughters to challenge her for it, knowing full well and accepting that she cannot hang onto it forever and would most likely be killed for it. She kept order in her kingdom and was fair with her citizens, but held a strong grudge against those who disobeyed her and would use her authority against them. It’s quite poetic that she lands exactly in the middle of this chart.

I think Hazel was underrated, I actually think she's on the same level as Glory and Thorn. She led 2 tribes (As many as she could get from the tribes) and 2 HiveWings to the other continent. That's alot to do.

All the SeaWing queens are just the absolute WORST. Idk what the hell is in their genetics, but literally every one is them is so bitchy. Tsunami is lucky she got stolen away from that toxic ass palace.

Also we love to see Glory getting the tier she deserves😍. Tbh I wish Scarlet had at least been in A tier. Yes, she’s a horrible dragon, but omg, if she wasn’t like Disney villain level iconic in every scene.

I feel like Lagoon belonged with the Ex-Queen Rainwings. Where they were lazy and didn't care about their tribe, Lagoon was manipulative and didn't care about her magic wielding brother.

Not only did she torment him and enslave the use of his magic, but she also flaunted his childhood trauma as a punchline, causing both her own death as well as the deaths of the Skywing princesses present at the party.
