For anyone who also wanted to know, taking a hammer from your garage and bashing out your windows isn't a very good way to open your windows. Detroying your property destroys it, who would have guessed.

Thanks for telling us that cutting a hole in a bag of water will cause water to leak out. Really important stuff here

I have a waterbed. Had it for about 12 years now. Bought it from the guy that invented them. It’s new age and has a 5 inch thick memory foam thing on top and doesn’t have 1/3 the water the old ones did. It doesn’t make the noise and is the most comfortable and wonderful bed I’ve ever had. I’ll be buying a new ones if anything happens to this one. They’re great

Edit: when I said I bought it from the man that invented water beds what I meant was that the man started the company “afloat waterbeds” and I bought it from them but not directly from him. I def miss worded that

Fun fact: most apartment complexes wont allow you to have a waterbed because of the issues that can occur with them.

I have the same bedroom set. Purchased from peppers waterbeds. I drained the bladder, and a California king mattress and box spring fit perfectly. The bedroom set cost over $15000 back 35 years ago. Very beautiful set. The bladder or tubes were very uncomfortable.

Yepppp. I actually still had a waterbed up until 3 years ago. California king at that!! Went to South Florida for a month. Came home and the bed was empty!! The carpet and floor were still wet but was drying. Tells me it happened very shortly after we left. EVERYTHING was ruined including the wooden floor under the carpet!! Had to replace the entire wooden floor, carpet, dressers, everything!! Thank God i didnt have any expensive electronics or clothes because i took most of that stuff with me. Important papers and documents that i would keep in a drawer or two underneath the bed, GONNEE!!

I had a waveless waterbeds (tubes with foam in them) with a pillow top and it was the most comfortable bed in existence. I miss it so much. Also you're supposed to put "conditioner tablets" aka bleach tablets into the waterbed bladder on a regular basis. Idk why anyone would cut one up unless it was in an abandoned house and they don't care about destruction

Water beds are a huge pain to move and empty. In my experience, if you dont have a pump and only a hose. Its gonna take a while and alot of effort to empty that thing. And even then with only a hose, there will still be some gallons of water in there you cant reach or empty until you get to a yard or big enough bucket to pick up side down the matress to drain. And the matress empty is ridiculously heavy too.

i love how the title and start of the video made it sound like this was life or death information and it pretty much boiled down to "dont spill water all over your carpet or youll make a mess"

when i was younger water beds were so popular, i even remember in an episode of ed edd and eddy where they made it seem so cool

Also, let’s not forget that lots of water beds and bed frames have heaters plus all the other electrical stuff people have around their bed. If the breakers or GFCI’s aren’t working right, this can be a very bad day.

I like waterbeds I never had mold grow in ours and we had it since the 80s and the reason why they are not as popular is because most landlords do not want them in their house and say it in lease or they will make you pay an extra deposit for any possible water damage and some landlords will charge non refundable deposit that's the main reason people don't get them

Was that a mistake or where they're trying to trash the place? Seems like something someone would do if they were getting evicted
