Oh man, what a throwback. Garen camping in a bush has to be one of the oldest league memes there was.

I've been playing galeforce garen down in gold ever since stridebreaker lost its dash. seemed like a natural item on garen since he scales with everything it give. That being said it's usually bruiser next not full crit. Good to see there's room for more damage in the build. I'll still be going hullbreaker second until it's nerfed

It's funny how Garen became from Juggernau to bruiser to full ad call it as you like - role.

Personally I think this build's biggest strength is how strong it is when behind. A normal garen will do almost no damage when behind, and if you can't kill in one rotation of abilities as garen, you're going lose almost any 1v1 midgame. This is where crit garen shines, even when behind, you have such a ridiculous amount of damage that you can still do your job just fine. With just galeforce, you can hide in a bush and oneshot the majority of champions in the game, even if they have twice your gold.

That anti-tryndamere build was actually insane. I was just thinking of how that galeforce build wont work against any tryn (my main). And then boom phase rush + tabis + randuins kek + exhaust

I definitely saw a copycat of this guy last night running a jungle Garen setup. They asked my team’s opinion of the play of him using that all, and I answered honestly. He was super inconsistent with what he was doing, especially since (I was playing top lane), he solely relied on waiting in top jungle since that’s where his friend was (a Darius he duo queued with). Assassin Garen definitely seems solid though!

It's not a "new" idea to use dash items on Garden. The old dash stride breaker last season made Garen actually viable. Some people were playing around with Gale after that item got reworked but I think most just dropped the champ at that point.

Garen gets crap ton of armor from his w passive, so stacking armor on him again mixed damaged comp actually gets diminishing effect. The most value stats for him are actually attack speed and crit, since it scales with his e

As a Garen main, I was able to interact with him very briefly. Its too bad he disappeared before I could ask if he streamed although I still enjoy Riste.

Going to be honest normally when I see Assassin Garen he usually doesn't even need to camp bushes he literally goes berserk and its a nightmare to even contest him at all though Malzahar and Veigar CAN do this if I'm not playing a CC champion he literally blows up everything...
Granted I am currently in a very low rating where Assassin Garen is by far at his strongest point!
