Lea started performing at age 7. Growing up she did theater, film, tv, concerts and albums. She was 17 here when she was auditioning for the original London production of MISS SAIGON. Lea was 18 when she starred in the original London production and became an international star. She won the Olivier Award at age 19. Lea originated the role on Broadway at age 20 and won the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards. Lea is the singing voice of 2 Disney princesses: Jasmine ("A Whole New World") and Mulan ("Reflection"). She has been working consistently up until now - she turns 51 next month.

You should definitely check out more of Lea's performances. She has a lot of great ones (you reacted to "On My Own" several months ago), but I will control myself and only recommend a few here:
--Lea singing "Via Dolorosa" with the Cadet Glee Club of West Point. I think this was somewhere around 2005 which would make Lea 34 years old.
--Lea and Josh Groban singing "The Prayer" at Josh's concert in Manila on Feb 22, 2019. (It was her 48th birthday. Lea had broken her leg the month before and canceled most of her upcoming concerts, but she did appear at Josh's concert in a wheelchair to sing a couple of songs since she didn't have to travel far.)
