A source tells ET their breakup was mutual, after realizing they are in 'totally different places in their lives.’ Shawn and Camila announced the news of their split on Instagram. I think it’s hard to sustain a relationship when they’re both in the industry. Shawn has a 66 stop tour coming up and I’m sure she’ll be promoting her upcoming album too. It doesn’t leave them with much time for each other romantically especially if they’re in different places all the time. The only way it could work is if one sacrificed their career for the other and I think they’re both too talented and driven to do that. Sounds like they mutually decided to put their energies towards their careers instead of trying to sustain a romance. Just my opinion :-)
