you can also check the writing on the power if it's horizontal when it's laying flat you have a gamecube wii

Correct me if I'm wrong but the wii logo on the front should be legible as if you are going to put it upright. And if it can't play GameCube games it will have the wii logo visible if you were to lay the console on the side.

That's cuz despite how they seem to be very different, on a hardware level the wii is basically just an improved gamecube

The non GameCube wii still have the function to play GameCube cds just that the cd drive in those are not built to take those cds but if you put a cd drive from a Wii that does play game cube games it will read them and load them like normal

we got our wii back in 2011 aka its now 1q year@ old, it still plays gamecube games even tho i got myself a seperate gamecube CUZ I HAD TO

For your USB Loader Gx video, why dont you use a hard drive that plugs in an outlit? It gets more power.
