Some considerations from a Brazilian native:
- Ronaldo, the footballer shown on the beginning of the presentation is actually Portuguese. There are other two football stars named Ronaldo: Ronaldo, known as "Fenômeno", and Ronaldinho Gaúcho. Take a moment to see their highlights;
- Brazil has a large cultural variety. It has not only the largest Japanese population outside Japan, but also the largest Italian population, the largest Arab population, the 2nd largest German and Dutch populations outside their respective countries, and so on. That happens both because of the receptiveness of Brazilian people, and the colonization processes occurred along the centuries;
- Despite the Amazon rainforest and Rio de Janeiro being the most famous portraits of the Country, Brazil has an uncountable variety of natural elements. It may snow in the South (not every year) while it may hit 40ºC on the North;
- Brazil has free healthcare: the SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde) is also extensible to any non native people visiting or living in the Country. The SUS system is an object of study for many other countries as an example of successful healthcare system;
- The native language of Brazil is Portuguese. Only 5% of Brazilians speak English as a second language, and despite all the borderlines with countries that speak Spanish natively, only 4% of Brazilians speak Spanish. So, if you want to visit Brazil, try to learn some Portuguese basics;
- The USA has the 4th larger territory in the World with Brazil in the 5th position. However, Brazil is larger than the continental area of the USA (without the Alaska State).

Fun fact: in 1654, around 600 Dutch Jews left Recife, now a state capital on Brazil's northeast coast, expelled by the Portuguese. It was the end of the Dutch occupation in Brazil. These Jews, who were expelled, helped to found New York City and today New York is the second city with the largest number of Jews in the world, behind only Tel Aviv, in Israel.
