Rock bottom is the perfect place to build your foundation

This is why some people that chased a very unlikely dream became successful. They already hit rock bottom and weren't afraid of it anymore. So they pursued their dream not being afraid of losing what they have (such as most people who have a full-time job and are afraid to lose the security so they might not open up their own business). They've already been there so they aren't afraid of going back. Only way from there was up.

Incase none of you knew this, David ran 205 miles in the desert in 39 hours without stopping, has ran 100 mile races 8 weekends in a row, ran 30 miles to complete a race whilst he had broken all the bones in his feet and once broke a world record for pull-ups, he did over 4000 in 17 hours.

This was me a year ago! I was depressed and unhappy with were I was in life and decided, hey I've always wanted to join the Navy. So I started crossfit and working on nutrition. I'm now one of the strongest female powerlifters in my area and inches away from making measurements to join. This is so inspiring!

David Goggins is the reason I’m on my living room floor doing push-ups after years of neglecting my body and health

I water fasted a week and lost 15lb - probably mostly water weight but still felt enlightening and made me realize how much emotion is connected to my eating and drinking - a realization that the same emotion needs to be tapped into exercise and other healthy activities besides eating. Hardest part was going to sleep sometimes - my mind thinking "is this fast ok, is this ok? didn't eat, are you ok." Comfort is not happiness, happiness requires discomfort, growth, adventure, merit, legacy to tell. Goggin's has a legacy of the human spirit - how much we can change now

The food must be the fuel, the happiness must be the lifestyle

David Goggins is the epitome of David Goggins and anyone who isn't David Goggins should strive to be David Goggins, because after all, David Goggins is David Goggins.

I listened to his audiobook Cant Hurt Me, been in the gym 5-6 times a weeks ever since. If you read/listen to his book, you'll really understand how powerful this man is.

I feel you. When I reported to boot, I was a 191 lbs. My max is 178. Now, these days, I never get over 150lbs. Stronger than when I was younger. So I can relate somewhat. It's really mental.

Man this guy inspired me and spoke to me. 2 weeks ago I saw myself at 272lbs and I'm 6'1 25yo. And I grossed myself out and called the Navy to join and the recruiter is helping me lose weight now so I can join. I've lost a good amount of weight but I have to be 206 and still have a long way to go

I used to be 300lbs. I lost 100lbs and I am still going to shed off that last bit of weight.

I am a lot stronger and I am building muscle. Thanks to god, I was able to become a better me.

I am almost where I want to be. I put on 20lbs of muscle and still growing, but I still have a bit of stubborn belly fat.
