Do you really need a premium version of antivirus? Or the free version will do just fine? Today I am here to do a Malwarebytes review to answer just that.

Even though Malwarebytes offers quite a few useful features with their premium plan, it is not as feature-rich as some other antiviruses, such as Bitdefender, Norton, or any other top antivirus software. For example, you won’t find Parental Controls, a firewall, or a password manager in your Malwarebytes antivirus package. But I can promise you that Malwarebytes is a decent, no-nonsense antivirus product that you should consider. Also, while it doesn’t have too many features it doesn’t miss any crucial ones, like virus protection or file quarantine.

😎 Ease of use
I found Malwarebytes download and installation to be smooth sailing. At first glance, Malwarebytes on Windows looks quite simplistic. The dashboard displays the Virus Detection History, the Scanner section, and the Real-Time Protection features. To get to some other stuff, it might be a little more tricky. Overall, I can firmly say that Malwarebyte’s user interface is really intuitive and easy to navigate, but I was expecting this from such a well-known antivirus.

There are a few things I don't like about Malwarebytes. It's too easy to accidentally add a web exclusion for a particular IP address. That option should not be on the pop-up menu when you right-click on the Malwarebytes icon. I wish there was a way to hide that option. I don't like it when Malwarebytes sends a pop-up notification every time there's a compromised connection to the computer. I can look in the Detection History and determine which connections are truly a threat. I don't need to see a pop-up message every time.

What about Malwarebytes standard? It looks like the only difference between it and premium is that it covers 1 device vs 3 with premium.

is Malware Bytes premium on the app store for mac? I only saw browswer guard. I can't keep search marquis out of my browswers. I am not sure if speed dial is also some type of malware? My computer doesn't seem to have any issues but when I use a new tab on my browswer, I get these weird things in the new tab.

Thanks for the video! I think it was blocking my stock trading alerts I set up on my charting platform so I asked about how to allow the application to send alerts. They asked for my log files by downloading a separate tool. I was hesitant but did upload my log files with their tool. Do you think that was safe to do? If not, any suggestions on how to reverse this or stop giving them access? Thanks so much!
