MalwareBytes Honest Review - My Top Recommended Antivirus?

i been using malwarebytes for about 3 or 4 years it stopped a ransomware attack and locked out the infected program from usage, i use it whether i have a windows or chromebook

I've used Malwarebytes since version 2.0 and I just don't regret it. Its protection is excellent.

I have used Bitdefender for the last 3 years. But I had some issues with some trojans and unwanted browser popup's that had infected my browsers. Malwarebytes cleaned up what Bitdefender didnt...
So from personal experience I can recommend Malwarebytes. In addition I have tried Gridinsoft but it failed to detect the browser infections.

This is only based on my experience and noone is putting money into my pocket.

Really good AV system, definitely awesome for second opinion scan, but switched last year, due to having a lower live detection ratio (But also reason was that I got better value with other AV Bitdefender, for a number of devices I need). Great video btw, your channel is one of the good security channels I watch alongside TPSC.

I use google chrome as a browser. one day I could not run anything. I could not connect to the internet.. with any browser. but I ran the free version of malwarebytes and it found many issues and FIXED THEM ALL! and I could get on the internet again. Truth.. that convinced me!

I’ve been using this for 3-4 years. I trust this product because it has protected my computer. Compared to my brother who doesn’t have this, I scanned his computer with the free version and he had over 170 malware on his computer! I advised him to get this but he’s cheap and doesn’t care. Because of it, he has random tabs that open on his browser randomly and even if I close the tab, a new one will open eventually.

Malwarebytes seems to be pretty good but it doesn`t include a firewall unlike most of its competitors. Do You use/recommend a different third party firewall or is Windows firewall enough for You ?
