Okay then. Is it kinda like wipers use to be. Low vacuum, slow moving wipers??? I'm use to the punch it and away I go 🤪. Just goes to tell, there's more to tuning in a carb then I know. Thanks for sharing, JB.
Mine is a TBI system. I'm learning about hardware and software and where it's located, what it does and all. Wish me luck, I have all five books with the circles needed to go from chapter to book to page. I may not have enough paper clips though. Lol.

That's a pretty good description on that man, and I'm with you.... trying to explain stuff while talking to the camera is... yeah... sometimes the mouth doesn't know what the brain is telling it... lol.
I've always said that Vacuum secondaries are like an automatic. They are good for everything, but not really good at anything that you want RIGHT NOW. I've always been a fan of mechanical because I can feel it in the peddle to let me know when and where I want it to Gitty Up. I don't know.... it's the same principles as an automatic transmission really. It's made to do everything ok, and not just one thing well. Mechanical Secondaries... that's like having a Manual Transmission that gives you total control, but you have to know how to use it to get the most out of it when you want it... if that makes sense?

I use to put a screw in the secondary linkage slot so it opened part way when you stomped . It Seemed to open up quicker .
