Hogwarts Legacy Review

What we had already played of Hogwarts Legacy left us really impressed. However we can't help but feel now that we've played the full game that maybe it is trying to do too much.

No disrespect to the reviewer, but most of the cons he listed about the game seem like nitpicks that only someone who read the books might have. For instance him saying a persons clothes shouldn’t indicate how powerful they are in the Hogwarts setting which I kind of understand but…it’s an RPG, that’s always been the case with RPGs. I just finished beating Cyberpunk 2077 wearing a fedora, a dress shirt and booty shorts because it was the most optimal build I had lol.

Having playing the game now for 16 hours, I am having a fucking blast. I highly recommend anyone on the fence because of these two to go play it yourself, it’s so addictive!

wow this guy is super negative about the game. like really negative. the game isnt as bad as these two seem to make out. yes it doesnt have a traditional 'cops' system in it and its not super fleshed out in every single area, but guys, its a huge game. the story is fantastic, the combat is fantastic, its service to the harry potter universe is fantastic, the music is fantastic, the open would is fantastic, theres mounts, brooms, over hundred side quests, puzzles, collectable etc, it has hogwarts fully realised, hogsmead, a huge map, its got the wands, clothes etc etc etc. i could go on. when a game has this much and is this ambitious, review whats there, not what isnt there.

Just so you know if you buy the physical PS5 copy, the disc only contains the intro of the game, the rest of the game needed to be downloaded. The box doesn't state that you need an internet connection to do so. The game has a near 80 GB of data that needed to be downloaded before you can play.

Dunno if your reviewer got the memo but Hogwarts legacy isn’t a sim…
Lot of the complaints here feel like they are weathering a community backlash storm by negatively reflecting on features that shouldn’t have been expected.
