Spyderco Delica 4 & Endura 4 review: FFG Perfection

This is a video I almost didn't make. After all, there is so much information out there about these knives, and doesn't everyone already own them? However my enthusiasm for the knives won out and I decided to make this video. It is not a full detailed review, it is a quick overview and my take on these excellent knives. It's also a fun way to show off my collection :)

My favourite at the moment. Got a grey one and a purple one. The grey one is the user over here as well. I love to team the delica up with my vic cadet alox! Awesome combo when hiking

My sabre ground Endura 4 with Emerson wave is one of my favourites users. I have set it up at 15 degrees and it is schmick. Really like the look of the FFG though. One of the FFG Delicas, profiled to 15 and polished with a Edgepro polishing tape and ghetto modded with a zip lock in the tip up position will I suspect be my next Spyderco purchase. Don't apologise for reviewing great knives, IMHO the people who view channels like this don't care how many times they see great blades.

@xxbryan715xx If near people I usually don't carry on the pocket clip, just keep it in my pocket. So not a problem. People seem to consider knives as weapons first and tools a very distant second.

@PavlovSandor The FFG really is a great knife, I'm sure you'd be impressed with either model. I've never had a sabre ground version so don't know how they compare.

Im in the US where carrying a knife is some what normal. How does it go over in a safety sally country like austrila?

@tendollarword Yes, they look great. I would have liked one of the damascus blade Delicas but our customs have told me it's a restricted import. Guess I'm lucky to have these.

Are the pocket clips the same size on both knives? i broke my pocket clip on my delica but i can only find for sale replacement endura clips

It seems to me that knife laws track with the primary economic activity of countries, agricultural and heavy industrial workers need to carry knives for their livelihoods, while service and information workers don't. As the later come to predominate any society, the political elites will try to restrict knife ownership and/or carry since it is the natural objective of governments to consolidate as much power, money and privileges to itself at the expense of the people.

Where did you buy these from? Did you import them or get them from an Australian store?
