Had to rewatch this after years of having him in his packaging, due to me not knowing where the instuctions went. And wanting to compare to the new studio series voyager prime.

The gun's configuration reminds me of the British WWII Sten gun in the way the ammo clip is on the side of the gun placed forward and perpendicular to the trigger/hand grip area. A nice figure overall. It would be interesting to see this guy in a Voyager size, but that is unlikely to happen unfortunately.

I think what would be a really nice addition to the toys is if hasbro or someone made multiple guns like the ones in the game, that can also store in vechile mode.

LOVE THIS GUY!! I found him and megs for ten bucks each in 2010 and grabbed them. I modify mine by wedging up the torso hinge joint and making him a half inch taller.

the smoke stacks turn in to fit over the leg so you can fold the gun up and turn it around as a booster effect

@optibotimus Two helpful hints I"ve found. 1) At the end when you complained about the blue smokestack piece having the latch and the peg that you had to put in, I realized with mine that you can move the whole front of the vehicle on the hip and elbow joints upward so you can peg the blue part attached to the smokestack in and then bring it back down for the latch. 2) the smokestacks can be rotated 180 to hide the junk and leave just a silver smokestack.

assuming you mean the hinge piece that swings the wheels onto the back of the leg, it can be a little tricky, as the joint seem to be on a pin, so the nail polish trick probably won't work. you could try taking a small piece of paper, folding it up and gently wedging it between the leg and the inside of the joint, that might increase the friction, though I would advice to be cautious, because forcing anything between the joint with excess force could split the joint.

Ten years later and i got the Rage over Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime. Love this Figure!!!!

The gun works well folded in robot mode if you store it on his back. I've also removed the screw for the top section of the vehicle mode so that in robot mode I can simply remove it which gives him a more natural look AND you can see his back Autobot carving. Currently making a peg to convert the loose part into a shield.
