Growing Tomato Plants From Sliced Tomatoes // Will They Grow?

Today on Grow It! I'm trying out the popular gardening hack, growing tomato plants from slices of tomato! There's a few reasons why this might not work and I'm looking forward to see if they'll actually grow nice tomatoes.

Here's my other tomato videos if you'd like to check those out:

I’ve grown tomatoes from slices for many years. Always extremely successful, huge plants with loads of beautiful and delicious fruit.

great video, mom just gave me a tomato and I had the thought wondering if you could plant a slice and grow more then I'll eat the rest of the tomato lol,
within last couple months got a bunch of onions and a potato that sprouted on me growing out back .
super excited. Probably gonna use a tiller next spring and make a full on garden in my backyard

I don't understand why people always start with small pots, and then repot and repot to an even bigger pot again later. You know it's going to be big, I always start a bunch of seeds in a big pot. It will grow and grow. No need to stress the plant by repotting it again and again.
