Who really invented Algebra?

In 846, Algebra as we know it was said to have been invented by al-Khawasmy, a muslim polymath who lived in Baghdad.

However, in 1650, 2000 years before him, the rind papyri describes multiple high level mathematical concepts, including algebra and euclidean geometry.

Here is an example of the many problems found in the African papyri.

“A quantity plus one-seventh of it becomes 19. What is the quantity?”

The Egyptians would solve their equations using a principle called the method of false assumption. They also already had the concept of a variable.

What al-Khawasmy did, was to formalize the approach as a more formal abstract technique. That formalization and popularization of algebra was ingenious.

The Rind papyri is a copy of a much older text. If anything, we know that the Africans from Kemet were using advanced math back in 2650 BC when the pyramids were built.

Follow us to find more gems on our history, And see how those who are said to be without history, birthed civilization itself.

Great Video Short! Maybe you can do a video about the Greeks who studied in Kemit, then went on to 'create Western Science.' Candidates can include Archimedes, who in 240 BCE 'invented' the Water Screw after seeing one in Kemit where they existed for 2500 years before Archimedes invented it.
THE "ORIGIN" OF THE PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM - During Pythagoras’ trip to Kemit, c. 520 BCE, he noticed that the Kemites had a fascinating strategy to improve the stability of temple walls. They used a rope, with 12 knots tied evenly spaced, which resulted in the famous 3-4-5 triangle, forming a 90°angle.
Euclid of Alexandria, the "SO CALLED FATHER OF GEOMETRY" - 300 BCE - Euclid is often referred to as the “Father of Geometry, ” and he wrote the “Stoicheion” or “Elements.” He also wrote works on the division of geometrical figures into parts in given ratios, on catoptrics (the mathematical theory of mirrors and reflection), and on spherical astronomy (the determination of the location of objects on the "celestial sphere"), as well as important texts on optics and music.
Thales of Miletus, 625 BCE, who, after studying in Kemit for 20 years, became the "first philosopher."
Or Hero (Heron) of Alexandria,  who is credited for creating the first working steam engine. He called it an aeolipile, or "wind ball."
Hipparchus: Father of Trigonometry considered by fools to be the 'greatest astronomer of antiquity' and discoverer of the Precession of the Equinoxes.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, a Persian man of faith, is the flower of Algebra. He is not the root of Algebra.

Priestess Ater-Tshema-T created calculus over 4700 years ago. Sheshet Priestess created trigonometry and Tekhi-Astronomer created Geometry.

Al khwarizmi modified it and was able to bring it to the next level
He is known as the father of algebra for this reason

While some Indains think they invented algebra (stupid)

Pi was unknown to the Egyptians but it is found throughout the great pyramid, obviously most of we see in Egypt was inherited, so the actual civilization you are trying so hard to steal is not even responsible for all of these advancements
