This is true for low value low self esteem women that are constantly receiving and hunting for validation so not giving it to her will make you stand out and thus maintain hypergamy. This is the third one of these that has popped up today and I just have to say it's stupid. Being the one who pursues is a masculine trait. Women want that in a man because it let's us know that you know what you're doing, you're confident, and we can rely on you.
