US Citizens, providing SSN for National Id is not required, we can enter NA, and got approved. Generally we are not comfortable in providing SSN to anywhere than US Govt forms, same I don't remember US asking India's Aadhar number for any reason.

Thank you for your input, I can understand a cautionary approach to opening up india tourism, but a 30 day visa plus premium cost flights will not attract tourists, vaccinated tourists especially ones who stay long term in india who help the tourist economy wouldn't be enticed to return for such a short duration

Hi Suja - Indian Govt have reinstated 10yrs tourist visas, in that case in Regular Visas process I can choose 120 months correct? Do I also need to use VFSGLOBAL services or can I directly mail my completed visa application along with all documents to Indian Embasy (Mission)?

For e-visa once I get granted, electronic travel authorized, I have to print and that stamp Ill get on arrival of india, or i have to take print and send to india embasy of my country ?

@suja Prakash Is attending a wedding for e.g., your daughter's wedding considered eligible for applying for an entry visa? We require to stay more than a month so will a wedding invitation be considered an eligible document for an entry visa?
