Wish me luck. I am going to try and piece my life back together. I am going to try as hard as I can. Watching a video of yours a night to keep me grounded and come to terms with my addiction. I hope I can do this.

every summer i used to go on and binge-watch shows, scroll for 10+ hours every day.. the last couple of years I've been changing that up. i quit scrolling (had a few slip-ups tho) a month ago. thanks Cam!

Good video cam! I am on the 2nd day of the 90 day detox with the summer starting. Can't wait to do exciting things! Your hobby list helped me a lot, thanks for that! Hopefully the 90 days will make my life better!

I bought a Nintento Switch but returned it! I'm happy that I could look at the Switch and just say, "nah."

instead of giving up on a hobby that many of us have since we were little kids, make a bucket list with the most creative and intense ideas no matter cost, with that you can keep gaming and doing whatever you like at the same time, I felt a bit insulted when I received this in my gmail, if you feel like all you can do is play video games, find out why and get rid of that urge, after that it's no longer an addiction, if you're able to operate like a normal human even though that's hella boring, then you're in the cool but if it only gets worse then unplug for a whole week, go camping with no electronics apart from maybe a radio incase you'd like some music or incase you get lost, pave your own path and don't listen to this Cam guy unless you're as far in as he says.

Great video man. It's not summer in my country, but I am on a break in between jobs so these tips are very useful.

Thanks Cam! Early in spring I decided to end my excessive gaming hobby. After some soulsearching and trying out different things, I sold my 3DS and bought a DSLR camera and haven't looked back since. Now I go out almost every day for a couple of hours to shoot and interact with the outside. It definitely feels like a straight upgrade from what I was doing before and I absolutely have a reason to go out and even travel for that sake, wheras before I usually stayed home.

Thank you for your constant help for us all to be mindful of our own life and time while video games is more than just a strong influence in this generation. Means a lot dude

I made sure I got a job this summer (full time) And I’m also taking 2 online summer classes for college. And I’m also a cross country runner so I don’t have a lot of free time. In a lot better place than I was 1-2 years ago. However, when I game on the weekends, I get bored of it pretty easily, but not complaining because I can find other things to do on weekends. I’m usually busy from 9am-9:15 pm on the weekdays. Work from 9am-5pm, run from 5:30-6:30, eat, 30 minute nap, then homework from 8:15ish-9:15

Hey Cam!

I'm leaving to Iceland in two days for several weeks. I couldn't schedule employment there through Internet in advance - I will storm every single company I see and ask for a job personally. I didn't want to schedule any place to live in a flat - I will bring my own tent and camp. If everything goes wrong - I will go around Iceland and admire all the wonders of the nature it has. I will rely on myself and this is my plan and my epic adventure. Day 65/???

Thanks for the great video!
