1. If you see 3 recievers in a trips type of formation then cover 3

If there’s no back side receiver then cover 3blitz, 6 or 1

2. Twins type formation cover 4

Twins to a single side with a single back side receiver-cover 6

Double wing formation-cover 2

Cover 2- if you want to press the corners

man online whenever my defense is getting stops and not allowing points, I can't score any myself and I lose a low scoring game. but whenever my offense is on fire and I'm scoring a lot, my defense can't stop a parked car and I lose a high scoring shootout. 💀

For the rb checkdown spammers and roll out demons, i run a man coverage with the D-end lined up across the rb and throw the opposite d-end into a qb spy.. then in situations where they have to throw the ball i either leave the d line alone or throw on 1 spy depending on the qb

I found out that setting hooks at depth of 5 stops all cpcu quick routes etc. dangerous but it really works!

Run 4-4 spread the linebackers out set the edge guys to flats at 0 yards and all this becomes lockdown. It’s easy to make adjustments in this game and it helps tremendously

Thank you, so many people online were abusing the zigs and drag routes and I couldn’t stop it. I just wish EA could find a way to stop the ridiculous kicks people do on kickoff.

Keep in mind when you hard flat the corners they have a tendency to get burnt before the safety can get to them in cover 2. In cover 3 the fly route will def be open as well as the seams so make the coaching adjustment to align your dbs by speed. And get comfortable running a cover 2 man or some type of combo man coverage where your corners will surely be in position on the receivers regardless of routes. For mismatches in that set use the stick flick earlier to that player so you can user get in position 🙏🏾 💯

So with people who contain, I see a lot of QBs who only know how to make plays out of the pocket so I suggest making a Qb build with low speed and practicing on that so you know how to play the pocket, so when edges contain, you step up in the pocket which gives u 2 options, run through the middle or find a wr open

This is actually helpful. I haven’t played since 2014 and couldn’t figure out how to control my d line, secondary, or linebackers outside of sliding the line or playing press / back.

The tip about personnel, I normally would come out in Nickel if they running with 2 WR's then I would audible to a 4-3 Over play

Be careful with using underneath coverage. If your DBs/LBs lack the stats they'll get outran or outleveraged and now the reciever has a drag with one fewer defender in front of him. But if done right it's an easy pick 6

I play on Varsity and it's pretty hard. I suck at it 😂 Last game I played against Michigan and the score was 63-62. I won though by a field goal. It's the runnning game for me that I could not stop and most of my DBs can't tackle for shiit 😢😅
