Thank you for this I went thru septic shock last year and i was in the hospital for 19 days. Unfortunately on the third day there I ended up coding out in my room and my oxygen dropped below 20% they ended up saving me. But I was so out of it and they had to pump me with so many antibiotics that the communication with the doctors and nurses was difficult. But watching this explains a lot so thank you sir.

Doctor, i am not a Doctor, but followed your very informative narrative. My son recently passed away due to septic shock at a government hospital in Goa, India. he was admitted for severe brain injury caused by an accident . The Doctors who treated him, are not sharing information regarding the treatment for SS, they say that only a combination of antibiotics is given from a reading of the reports, i can find no kind of treatment as suggested by you. Doctor, what is the treatment suggested by you the standard followed all over India/the World? i would like to get in touch with You.

What if the patient is a known hypertensive with usual BP of 160/100... Can a BP of 110/80 be considered as a sign of sepsis with dropping temperature, loss of consciousness and low urine output? Another question is in shock is there a risk of increased intracranial pressure?
