Luigi's Sprite Problem

Mario and Luigi finds themselves with others Luigis, this won't end up good.

This in a nutshell sums up the problem with making Super Mario World Sprite animations with Luigi in it, he has literally 3 different kinds of sprite sets, four if you count the one from the upcoming Super Mario maker 2, sheesh somebody please make up their mind on which Sprite he's supposed to have!

The detailed sprite for the Luigi from the original Super Mario World should have been a recolored Mario. Also, the hands at the end of the video should be facing the opposite direction. Nonetheless a great video as always. Really amazing to see you're back!

Anyways I still want to know why Luigi was redesigned again after the GBA one for Super Mario Maker 2. Apparently Japan never got the All-Stars (the "main" one) version which is why the GBA remake got a new Luigi design...but why not use that for SMM2?
