Thank you for all the wonderful orchid care tips. I started my orchid collection around 2 years ago and you have been such a great source of information. I ordered the ceramic pots from repotme last year and I love them. I also use the msu fertilizer and the dark imperial orchiata. What a difference it makes in growing orchids. I will never buy hardware store "orchid mix" ever ever ever again. Highly recommend. My orchids are thriving under the barrina grow lights that I just purchased on your recommendation also. My daughter and I just got start with orchids that were given to us. So I have been use your channel to help me learn what I should and shouldn’t be doing for them. Having a grow light would help out great since I don’t have very many windows and just after spring starts summer temperatures soar into the 100’s. Thank you for all the help.

Last year, I stumbled across a few videos on this channel which made me decide to keep an orchid plant that had finished bloom and experiment.I did make a few mistakes along the way though (the stem that the orchid blooms grew on, I accidentally cut off completely😳) On the other hand, I watered occasionally during the winter, added a cactus wood mix, fresh moss and lecca balls, placed it in indirect sunlight and now it has two new beautiful healthy leaves. I have a very good friend who’s also experienced with orchids, and he told me so far so good, my plant looks healthy. I just have to be patient. It will re-bloom at some point. He has at least 12 orchid plants that he’s had for the 13 years I’ve known him and they re-bloom every year with minimum effort. I tried his minimalistic approach and it’s never worked with previous orchids I’ve owned. Hence why I tried the advice given on this channel with promising success. I plan on picking me up a couple more orchid plants this spring since I’m a bit more confident in my ability. Trial and error right? Practice makes better!!
