There are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them

Still freaking good in 2024, the 80s really was the era when the synthesiser was fully embraced in pop music. Very glad I was a teen in that time period, and I still love that music today.

Almost 40 years later, this is still great.

Still one of the coolest synthesizer grooves ever invented by the human species. Bar none.
It still sounds modern, like it was released a month ago. It's a shame everybody recognizes it as being almost 40 years old :)

Not just a tune, but also a timeless universal truth wordlessly expressed in musical form.

It's amazing that such synthesizer sounds have survived until now. It still sounds so modern even though it's 40 years old. Harold Faltermeyer is the best.😊
