This is an extended version of the famous theme « Axel F. » from the Eddie Murphy movie « Beverly Hills Cop » (1984) by Harold Faltermeyer. I have extended it from the already 12'' vinyl extended version (7 mins 10 sec) and mixed with the classic OST version (3 minutes 01 sec) for a total of 14 mins 27 sec! At school during a rainy lunchtime my friends and I launched into this, each taking different parts off the cuff without talking about it first. It started with 3 of us and ended up with about 7 I think, we got a round of applause..which I didn't enjoy much!

The first movie was by far the best in the series. Chart topping music featured in the soundtrack that transports you back to the 1980s when you hear it. The sequels lacked strong soundtracks and were weaker films in my opinion. Netflix is producing a 4th film. It will be nice to see Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley again.

There’s about to be a ton of traffic here. Just watched the new film. Fantastic 80s nostalgia! Loved seeing the original gang back together again. I was extremely disappointed not to see Harold Faltermayer in the opening credits. I lowered my expectations but I must say Lorne Balfe did a bang up job. Impressive work. This is a terrific extension. Thank you so much!
