Not a huge fan of musicals but I really, really, really want to see this movie. The trailers are what sold me on this thing. I think they're some of the best trailers ever made. If you guys have not seen the trailers for La La Land, please go watch them right now. They're fantastic, my personal favorite is the second one called 'Audition'.

WTF HOW IS THIS NOT AN A+!!!??
Don't get me wrong, your review was great but this movie was truly amazing. It's one of the best musicals I've ever seen, and this is coming from a guy who usually hates musicals. Even Tom Hanks has stated that after seeing it, this is one of the best movies of the year and according to the director Damien Chazelle, this is supposed to be his masterpiece. And you never even said there was anything wrong with the film so how isn't it A+ dammit. But since everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I respect your opinion.
