What Actually Is Headspace? - Exploring OMORI Mysteries

Headspace is a very mysterious place in which Sunny "dreams" every night in OMORI. Headspace seem to be filled with Sunny's happiest dreams and fantasies, which all seem to be created by Sunny himself. So, is Headspace merely just a dream, or is it something bigger than just that?

I just think Sunny is good at keeping his dreams consistent and using lucid dreaming too would help keep things in order.

Headspace imo is something Sunny created and the characters are talking from the point of view of an elder wiseman, knowing a lot, but not exactly everything.

Actually Dreams usually look different each time you visit them. However, I think that Headspace/White Space/Black Space is something more than just a regular dream world. Have you heard of Reality shifting before? It's a concept which is similar to lucid dreaming (being aware that you're dreaming), however many reality shifters claim that instead of dreaming, you're shifting to another "dimension" or another spiritual level of this world. In the reality, you shifted to, everything feels as real as it does in the real world. So I think, that Sunny somehow learned reality shifting and created his own desired reality, where he can return to every time
