Imam recited:
كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم حتى ذاقوا بأسنا قل هل عندكم من علم فتخرجوه لنا إن تتبعون إلا الظن وإن أنتم إلا تخرصون. قل فلله الحجة البالغة فلو شاء لهداكم أجمعين.
Likewise, those before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? Surely you follow nothing but ˹false˺ assumptions and you do nothing but lie.”

Say, “Allah has the most conclusive argument. Had it been His Will, He would have easily imposed guidance upon all of you.”
(Surah An'aam: 148-149).

Comments poured in asking for a translation of the words that the imam said because they felt comfortable, and not just the cat wich left the imam when he was about to kneel. The strange thing that the imam was reciting verse 149 of Surat Al-An’am:
