How To Remove Security Device For Liquor Bottles

I picked up some groceries today but Walmart left the security device in place. If this happens to you this is a way you can remove them.

Went to self checkout at Walmart. Both me and the associate who checked my ID failed to get the security device removed. With this video, I was able to remove it at home.

My experience at Wal-Mart is that 8 out of 10 employees don't know how this device works, and they beat and bang on the bottle after using their tool, which never seems to work. NOW I know that they have to rotate the clear top after properly positioning their magnet tool. Just yesterday I had to stop a Wal-Mart lady from beating a $60.00 bottle of 1910 Old Forester whiskey against her countertop edge. She got furious when I asked her to stop doing it, telling me "this is how we always do it" with rage on her face. I once had an employee beat one of those so hard that the bottle broke. Now I just need to get the Wal-Mart employees to "be nice and reasonable" toward me, and and not get pissed off at me when I gently try to show them now to do it without breaking the bottle.

As an ex employee of 10 years, I've seen and heard stuff. I heard the radar door things don't even work. They're just there for show and empty threats. My GF took a thing of lotion on accident with a magnet sticker on it from biglots and the thing never went off.

Makes sense I guess cuz employees also use some magnetic tool to remove it. A bit surprised cuz it seems too easy for thieves to remove. What's your intention in making this video though? How to steal?
