I can’t help but think that her parents also felt a sense of inadequacy compared to her. Normal parents would have been elated that their daughter is an apparent genius who had memorized the periodic table by elementary school. But Eve’s parents only looked at her with a sense of confusion and disgust. I think part of the reason why they so desperately wanted her to be “normal” is so she couldn’t show up their own mediocrity.

I swear this made me love Eve even more as a character in the show.. it's interesting how everyone portrayed her as super wierd and left field, when in this instant, its discovered by certain event's that she's super smart at certain subjects, and throws away any subjective ideas her parents have of her..

The title doesn't make sense. If you saw the episode, he's not a teacher nor a tutor, he's a babysitter. He is the student, making conversation and asking a generic question, not expecting an answer just studying and she goes off. Haha Mercury's funny 😂

This was a pretty good start to things. Atom Eve's fights are way more interesting in the series than the comics - fleshing out her growing up was also a great choice.
Hopefully the carry through is solid for the rest of the season.
