I love how some of the " New " sounds are still nostalgic to older players because some of them were changed within a few years of minecrafts release. Like the chest and door sound effects.

Random fact: The old “walking on grass” sound is still used in game, used for when you break any dirt-like block that isn’t dirt in the game. (grass block, podzol, pathway, farmland, snow-covered grass block, etc.)

the water splash sound is iconic but chest, door and creeper sounds all feel like a massive improvement. the chest sound is especially satisfying

the even older version of fall damages were even better, you have someone that groans very violently and gruesomely like it's as if your character is in so much excruciating pain

they should make it where you can choose what sounds you want in the options. I personally like the old fall damage, splash, and door sounds but prefer the new cow, chest, and bow sounds. It would be great to be able to customize it to my liking.

I was playing when they changed the sound for walking on grass. It honestly sounds like a creeper starting to explode it made me so paranoid lol

The old splash, explosion and hurt sounds are so much better.
But i certainly don't miss the old door/chest sound.
