If you find yourself wanting to eliminate sins from your life just because they're a burden, then that's the Holy Spirit. It's not "natural" to desire purity just for the sake of feeling clean and fresh. That's not "normal". It's supernatural.

Really good message. I often think about the fact that God hates pride. Why? I think its because pride is the love (or exultation) of self. But God calls us to love one another. Unfortunately it doesn’t require the Holy Spirit to perform “good works”. There are some very loving and giving people who do not even believe that there is a God. Don’t get caught up on externals. We can’t know a person’s heart. Only God knows our hearts.
Just because the Holy Spirit dwells within us does not mean that He will repel evil spirits. The apostle Paul suffered even though he boldly proclaimed Christ.
