The interesting thing is that we have become more productive with technology, but we actually make less compared to people in the 60s and 70s relative to the cost of living.

A 40 hour work week plus commute equates to roughly 25% of your waking life given to your job (not including retirement). A 30 hour work week equates to roughly 20% of your life. That 5% might not seem like much, but it’s the difference between offering 1/4th of your life towards work and 1/5th. I’ve committed to valueing my life over work and in doing so decided 20% is plenty and there is no need for me to work more then 30 hours a week.

The best work week would be 4 days work 3 days off. That's enough time for rest and doing something for yourself.

I agree, especially with the flow of capital to the top being disruptive. I'm not anti-reward, captialism is a reflection of reward for effort and risk-taking, we shouldn't really take that away, but exorbitant capitalist gains should be relative to the cost to society.
Another thing is self-actualization: Work can be a means to self-actualization, and some work like being a designer, scientist, or doctor can be quite satisfactory. (some jobs have that to a much lesser extent, which is why being a garbage man should pay well)

Leo i am really curious to know your take on Bitcoin? Like freedom wise, spirituality wise?

How does Bitcoin fit into all you teach, because i see it embodying all spiritual ideals! What are the implications of bitcoin for humanity from a self actualization standpoint?

Let's make people free to develop themselves by forcing them to not work as much as they want. Great idea, zero contradictions, never before tried.

Let me translate:
"State regulation" -> Usage of violence (or threat of) to impose one's will onto other.

Why not a free market regulation?
Imagine: A company that gives a seal to other companies regarding how they arrange their employees.

If one person is so interested to have a world with, e.g., 30-hour work week, one would buy mostly from companies with the 30-hour work week seal, thus moving the market (aka the people doing free exchanges) towards this situation.

A grand total of zero people were forced to do what they don't want and zero need for violence.

Why don't you open such a seal company Leo? Isn't it more humane than calling for the thugs?

Yes, but you could say you need the 40 hour work week to get further technological progress. Like, if with every big leap, big invention and step forward we reduced the time worked at jobs, the innovation would stagnate and no further inventions would easily be made. We already have many benefits from the industrial revolutions, breakthroughs in medicine, healthcare, food etc. Also, it's a free country and world, most of it, that is. If you're not willing to put the hours and work, somebody else is going to, it's that simple.

Why only 30 hours? Why not 20? 10? 0? 🤣

If reducing hours works leads to less production, then you'll have less--you'll be less affluent and your standard of living will be lower. If it doesn't, then seriously--why not zero?
