My only subscription is costco and amazon.. Amazon is getting too expensive.

I think coz no one is thinking of reducing spending on what is no longer as relevant. Streaming cost wont make you save anything if you simply cancel the subscription.

A couple things... if you have one streaming service its a good deal compared to other entertainments. One $20 meal out or 10hours of entertainment? $25 for you and the lady to see one movie in a theater or a streaming service for a month? ...

Its also easier to cut back without losing out in other areas. When shopping for food buying shrimp instead of the lobster is cutting back on spending, it doesnt mean your going hungry. For subscriptions its a all or nothing binary choice.

Also the issue of shared accounts matters, many people who tend toward cheapness arent cutting because they arent paying.

My spending is is completely opposite of these statistics. I spend $0 on TV/streaming services, clothing, music's, etc. My money is mostly spent on these ridiculous fuel prices in CA driving to/from work.

Hesitant, Postponing turning on the heat here in Michigan as the weather cools down., girls are cold. Even natural gas prices are up like 30%?. It's like going back to my childhood when we were poor.. No AC, cut the heat off, all lights off.. Of course no LEDs back then

Amazon and China:

What is this? Sellers from the United States by comparison makes up just 34.8% of all third party sellers."

Remember, China is about to overtake America in many aspects including economic growth. Also, Amazon is more expensive than most US based shops. You can get products cheaper and almost as fast by shopping American businesses. : /
