Change in discrimination law leads NAACP to issue travel warning

Missouri is changing its basis for discrimination claims. Victims will now have to prove what the "motivating" factor is behind the discrimination, which the NAACP says is "legalizing discrimination in Missouri." The NAACP is now issuing a travel warning about visiting the state. Jericka Duncan has the story.

Such great reporting. We got to hear both sides of the argument. Uhhh... well ONE side anyway.

I don't know all the details of this new law, but from what is presented in this report, I fail to see why a travel ban is necessary. It addresses lawsuits for being fired. When I travel, I mind my own business moving from point a to point b. I generally don't find myself in situations that would require a lawsuit. I must be missing something.
