Website to tailor your resume to Product Management:
(The free version is more than enough to tailor your resume)

Tips to have a great Product Management Resume:
1 - Format
* When it comes to the Format recruiters are looking at resumes to find who can be a potential good fit for the Product Management role based on the candidate's past experience, they are not looking for a graphic designer.
* A simple white and black resume with no extra format is as powerful as any other design. Your accomplishments should be the thing that shines! not your design.

2. Length of your resume
* Unless you have more than 10 years of experience, don't use more than 1 page. Recruiters will spend about 6 seconds looking at your resume and now you are asking them to split that time into more than one page? Also, make sure that the font style and size you use is readable, don't try to save some space by making your font size 5.

3 - Sections
* The first thing to add at the top is Information about you.
* I don't recommend adding a photo to your resume.

2. Education
* Make sure you list your degrees starting with the most recent one. Add some of the extracurricular activities you did.

3. Work Experience
* Every line starts with a verb in past tense, describes what you did (not your job description) and measures the impact you had. Measuring impact can be, for example, about increasing revenue, saving costs, improve performance, reduce time in a process or increase customer satisfaction, among others.

4. Additional Information
* While the main content should be focused on Education and Work experience, you can add skills ("Excel" is not a skill anymore… don't add it), volunteering that you may have done, interests (to show that you are more than just your job), languages, online degrees and certifications or projects that you have worked on.

I am glad that atleast I get to know this channel and learn that you need to add what you achieved not what you did in your past experince.

The last part about how to tailor resume based on J D and seeing the result of tailoring was epic!!!

Loved the point that says to measure an achievement. Shows the impact created as well as provides the personal tone to a resume. Just blandly writing job responsibilities seems like something that one would generally find on a job posting flyer!

Your videos are like a good book; you want to read (read 'watch') them again and learn something new, every time!
When I watched this video earlier, I got the idea of what to do with my resume and that transition was possible; then started finding out more about PM. And now I feel I should create my resume for applications and so re-watched the video and feel better.. getting back to work.
Thank you :)

This if the first time I saw someone present a heat map showing eye tracking when recruiters scan resumes and it helped me rethink the layout and how to word my resume. And using a layout similar to what you showed helped me reduce the pages whilst retaining the same details. This video is awesome. Thank you Diego!

Thank you Diego! I was always under the impression that an objective is needed, based on the studies you showed, that section is hardly even read. Now I can make more use of space.

This video was simple and gave straight directions and guidelines to develop a "Product Manager" resume. I learned your resume should show result driven bullet points.
