Decluttering is not a one and done, it is an ongoing process. It never ends.

Love the real life-real hair, no make up…love it! Loved the realness of this video …felt like I was on the phone with a girlfriend catching up! Great reminders of the importance of meaningful maintenance as the influx of goods coming in is constant! Thanks for another great video

Oh my goodness!!! You just told my story!! I've been retired for three years now and my house still looks like a tornado came through! Dishes never end, I'm sore I have a blank table under all of the things falling off my desk, my dining room has become a catch-all, and overwhelm is an understatement!!! Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone at the bottom of the mountain! FYI.. You look great without makeup and undone hair!!!

So glad I’m not the only one who says to my family, “I gotta go, I need a break!” and then actually leaves!😊 Love your “keeping it real” attitude today! So much helpful truth in this video! Be blessed and enjoy your rest!❤️☀️🌴

I feel like we, as women, need better support systems. It's hard to make friends with other women. Back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s women used to get together to help each other out. Stay at home mom's taught their daughters how to maintain a home daily... then women started working and became so much busier. We didn't get taught how to manage work, a husband, kids, and a home. We are usually tired or just need better discipline and accountability.

You addressed so many great points. I am guilty of doing a lot of decluttering and then not having a good maintenence system. Also when things come in, they must have a designated place. When things don’t have a home, they tend to get shuffled around from one place to another. This can lead to cluttered surfaces and an overall sense of chaos. But when everything has its dedicated place, your home will feel more peaceful and organized. We also have been working to reset the house each night. Each person is responsible for their things and also an area like the entryway and kitchen table. Can't wait to hear about your adventure!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video because it's not the typical "look how I decluttered my whole house while my baby napped." Ok, that's an exaggeration, but I feel like a lot of youtubers make it sound so easy, like, just do it. Just get it all done, whether it be cleaning or decluttering. But it isn't that easy, and you talk about that. It makes me feel better to know it's an ongoing struggle, and it's ok! One thing I have started doing is whenever i am finished with a giant box of baby diapers, instead of just recycling the box, i fill it with stuff to donate. That way, it's an ongoing purge.

I feel exactly like you! This decluttering sucks! It never ends! It feels like I'm starting at the beginning again! Now I understand why we should take 15 minutes to declutter here & there. It's a never ending job, but it makes us feel so much better. I just NEED to get it decluttered, & stay on a routine. Good luck with yours!

I need to take more control of what’s coming into my home. I will declutter clothes and then buy more. I’m sabotaging my hard work. This year I’m really going to be more intentional with what I buy.❤️🙏

The Re-clutter is so real 🫣
I breathed a sigh of recognition over here with the chasing the wind phrase. I often call it stuck in a hampster wheel…but chasing the wind felt more relatable this morning, as I’m up at 5 am tidying up from the weekend. Thanks for the real life (as always) MaryBeth!

Thanks for sharing. We are all human. Life can be tough, and definitely take a toll on emotions, who we physically feel and our ability to do what we intend to do. I have this problem even as an empty nester. Of course, much of what we have are left by our children, and that we brought from our parents house when they passed. I also understand family crisis. Most of my married life, of 41 years as been in survival mode because of real crisis. It is going to take a LOONG time to get all of my house to where I want it. I just began watching several Youtubers videos on decluttering about a year ago. I have made much more progress in that time than multiple years before. Decluttering and life are all definitely a PROCESS. We have to constantly remind ourselves to give ourselves grace, bee patient and compassionate towards ourselves.

Thank you for another great video! I’m right there with you! We have 2 unexpected close family members pass over the last year and things came into our home from the loved ones we didn’t have time to process and now we’re accessing and getting things back out again. Thank you for the encouragement! Can’t wait for the next video!
