I’m 19, I exercise every 2 days, i drink a lot i mean a LOT of water, i sleep 8 hours a day, i also eat fruits and vegetables, and after all that thing i’ve done, i still get acne like every darn day, it’s like unstoppable

For anyone suffering with acne:

I used to have severe acne. I tried EVERYTHING. I tried birth control pills, antibiotics, all kinds of face washed with all different ingredients, but it just wouldn’t go away as I had excessively oily skin. My dermatologist put me on accutane which is why I have clear skin today.

i have had acne for 10 years at least. it’s so frustrating never fully confident. i am so sick of it. it’s not severe enough anymore to go on accutane but i want it gone forever. i’m tired of it :(

When my parents first took me to a doctor, they prescribed me antibiotics and creams. This kept going until into my 30s when I lost faith with doctors. One day a neighbour of mine told me having a kid with eczema and he was taking the child for a blood test for food intolerance etc. I asked him the clinic and took the offer as well. Amongst the result that I was advised to avoid and in the red boxes was Sodium Sulfate. My stomach takes care of the majority of things I have an intolerance for, my skin just could not cope with sodium sulfate in soaps, toothpaste, shampoos etc. Since then I never looked back and even make my own soap :) Dermatologists always talk about "immune systems" and blame us for eating food when it's them who add these chemicals that irritate us into products so they could flog some products to heal the damage they have caused. This industry needs regulated and reigned in cos I believe they are scammers.
