This solution cured my throat irritation. Something that I had for over a year, causing me great distress. Using this 4 x daily cured me in 4 days

I bought a kit several weeks ago but was confused regarding the details of how to use it. The video resolved that.

This is an absolute game changer. I’ve had a really bad bout of sinusitis and a very chesty cough. The very first time I used it I was amazed and the amount of gunk that came out of my nostrils! That was all going down the back of my throat to my chest! What a relief. I woke the next morning and my nose was still clear. I used it 2/3 times a day and things very quickly cleared up. I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it (too queasy) but it was easy, strangely satisfying and definitely put me firmly on the road to recovery. This is a very informative video and shows how simple and effective the NeilMed kit is. Buy it!

I have been using this for many years. I was surprised that the demo just shows rinsing one side and then the other. What I have found effective is to rinse one side a couple times, wait 10 seconds or so, then blow my nose gently into tissue. Then repeat on the other side and blow my nose again. Then repeat back and forth until the solution is gone. I think gently blowing the solution out helps quite a bit.

I have only ever used a Neti Pot and bought this to try it.
I learn best through visual demonstration, so this video was very helpful.
After using this for the 1st time, I'm totally sold and don't think I'll ever use a Neti Pot ever again! I found this much easier and faster.
I deal with a lot of sinus issues, so I'm really glad that I gave this a try!! Thanks for the great video!!

Thank you. I loved the video. I have suffered sinus issues for 50 years. Before using this, I always had to go on antibiotics all the time. Keeping sinuses washed during a cold mostly prevents needing drugs.. I went to my Dr with an infection, and he gave me an antibiotic solution to add to the water and rinse, and it worked. I just hate taking antibiotics. Happy irrigating.😀

I find doing it the shower works best for me, the steam from the shower is already helping the cleaning process. I have been using NeilMed Sinus rinse for over ten years now. I never get a cold or any infections. I am diagnosed as a chronic allergic asthmatic .

I highly recommend doing a hissing noise out through your teeth while rinsing so you don't feel like it's getting in your throat. I do this several times a week and it really helps

I've had thirteen sinus surgeries (for reoccurring polyps) and rinse twice/day with two packages and one vial of budesonide--at the direction of my ENT. I use the NeilMed bottle and pre-mixed packages. I gently squirt a portion of the mixture into one nostril, stop squeezing and hold for ten seconds. I alternate nostrils four times, then use half of the remaining mixture on each nostril. I find this really gets rid of crusties. When I drain, I first tilt my head forward, then gently blow until the flow from both nostrils becomes a drip. Next, I tilt my head to one side, about ninety degrees and blow out gently. I repeat this for the opposite nostril. This drains my maxillary sinuses. Next, I gently blow my nose, and I'm done. I wait a half hour, then use Xhance. I have been polyp-free for four and a half years, now. Before, at four and a half years out, I would be completely blocked. Rinsing sinuses works. So does Xhance.

I thought I'd share this with you and and your viewers. Thanks for video!

I think I’m going to increase usage to 4 times daily- experiencing really bad congestion/ sinusitis in pregnancy and this is one thing that brings me relief.

I have a different device which has come with really rubbish instruction and this was the most helpful video I've found. Thank you. Might send mine back.

Thanks, my ENT doc gave me ZERO instructions and, worse, did not tell me that I must use solution to avoid irritating my sinuses with raw tap water. So this Yank (who also happens to have a NIN card from my stint in the UK on a work exchange visit back in my uni days) thanks you for this very clear set of instructions, FAQa and possible side effects.

Always good to rinse the nasal cavity with such a rinse even if one does not have overt allergies. Think of the nose as our body's air filter. Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of twisting it off and rinsing it like some HVAC filters. This is as close as it gets to washing the particulates that may settle on the lining of the nose which may cause congestion and postnasal drip. Of note, I would stress use of distilled water, and ensuring proper cleaning, making sure all 3 parts are disassembled with each cleaning.

I find using this in the winter a necessity. We have gas heat that dries out my sinuses. A humidifier just doesn’t do the trick. Using both has helped me avoid the sinus infections I used to get. IMHO

Thanks for a straight forward explanation and practical demonstration. This has helped. 3 courses of antibiotics and no better but this does help clear things up and treat pain and congestion. Thanks

I have used a sinus rinse with no doctor involvement and loved it! Only issue I have is cost of water and packets due to disability and very low income. When it comes to one thing like rent vs health care and food, sacrifices have to be made. Thanks tho for the videos. Sometimes help is on the horizon.
