That old gentleman who makes the gyoza seems nice. He didn’t speak but just the look on his face makes me happy

“If I don’t eat ramen everyday I feel strange”

So the $79 isn’t just for ramen, it includes several pricey side items and a whole experience. That’s actually a really good deal.

Best thing about Andrew and Steven is that they are actually respectful towards other cultures and like learning about them. They seem so genuine!

Imagine their job though, getting money for eating so you can eat more.

"Truffle?" "No." "Gold?" "No." "Caviar" "No."
Steven knows he's about to taste food that's expensive based purely on taste.

When you're so poor that $3 ramen sounds extravagant

I hope it didn't bother that man when his ramen was called "cheap"; in america it's not always a bad thing when food is called cheap, food here can be so expensive so when food is delicious and affordable we use that word with affection. We do also use that word as an insult as well, english can be confusing like that.

Rinrin: beautiful hand made perfection for $3. I want to cry. You can’t even buy a Big Mac with that money in the US
