Canucks are a good team. I don't mind winning close games right now against teams like this and the Lightning, these playoff-like games against playoff teams.

I hope these two play each other in the playoffs. Outside of the first meeting, the two games they've played have been tight, and low scoring, but intense. A 2012 rematch would be entertaining to watch.

Good game. Loved Lafferty's 97impression. Throw the Oilers and the Knights into the mix and the playoffs are going to be great.

This game was a prime example of how L.A. could be one of the most dangerous teams in the playoffs. Stifling defense, and stellar goaltending.

L.A. locked it down in the 3rd period. They did it so well, that Vancouver pulled their goalie with just under 5 minutes left in the game, and they immediately started to create scoring chances with the extra man. The King's defense and Talbot would expertly handle most of these chances, before Vancouver would get one to go off of Kopitar's skate, similarly to the second King's goal that Soucy kicked into his own net.

The Kings would hold on however, after missing a couple of looks at the empty net, and extend their win streak to 4 games. They also denied Vancouver of the honor of the first team to secure a playoff berth this season.

Arvidsson's presence in the lineup has been tremendous for the Kings this season. Including tonight, Arviddson has played in seven games, all of which, the Kings have won. Over those seven games, he has 1 goal, 4 assists, and is a +4. He is an invaluable piece in the Kings lineup, and will be essential for L.A. in the playoffs.

Kopitar also scored a goal and an assist, to tie him for 50th all time in points with Vincent Damphousse. He continues to lead the Kings in scoring this season, with 64 points. Legendary player, who doesn't get talked about as much as he should be.

Great start to the Canadian road trip for the Kings. They get a couple days off before facing Edmonton for the 4th and final time in the regular season. They're playing well, so hopefully a couple days off doesn't throw them off their game.

Go Kings Go!

Good game. It wasn't like the Canucks played poorly, the chances just weren't going in tonight.
Not mad about this loss.

That backcheck by Boeser on the first Kings goal was Messier-esque.

So L.A Kings have won 4 straight now. They won all 3 home games. Tonight they beat the number 1 team in Pacific Division, Canucks. Go Kings Go!

I have complete confidence in DeSmith if he's the guy going into the playoffs. He's been great.

any knucks fan that think they are the best team in the league seriously needs to reconsider. our power play needs to be better or we will have no chance of making it far into the playoffs.

At this time, the teams that are out of the playoffs, players would play hard just to improve their contract negotiations for next year. Teams that are on the cut lines will fight for the playoffs

Any Canucks fan still want to play the kings in the first round may rethink that after this game lol
